First snow of the last 12 months. Here in the valley, we got a nice rain for the desert but all around us is lovely snow. Let's hope some of thee precipitation goes further West to the LA fires.

I love a monochromatic tree for some reason; this one makes me happy. Every year I put it up after Thanksgiving &enjoy it til New Years Day. I take it down while watching the Rose Parade. Been my habit for many years & it gives me comfort - most especially this year.

Took these last night and forgot to post - I was TIRED! But man it was so pretty. I love the way the clouds disappear when the camera zooms in.

Tuesday's Veterans Day celebration in Yucca Valley. Gary was feeling good enough, so we went and our friend Johnny was there too, so we got to congratulate him for winning his election in 29 Palms.
