The constant playing down of the reality that we have irreversibly blown past 1.5C as a ‘target’ is deeply troubling. Only one metric needed: Atmospheric CO2, which is rising at an accelerating pace. We have no realistic targets until that changes.

“Smart” beds? Perhaps “dumb” might be a better adjective for beds, fridges, blenders etc that, seriously, function way more reliably and effectively without internet connectivity.
