Our city councillors in SJ are so dumb they think that the AI bubble will go on forever & that “data centres” will create stable long term jobs (instead of one guy working remotely to keep the servers running).

And that’s if the AI bubble doesn’t pop before the data centre even gets built!

Well the local pharmacy is sold out of their giant basket of covid tests....
On one hand, it's good to know people aren't following @govnb.bsky.social 's advice and are actually testing...on the other hand. WTF are we even doing?!? This is awful advice.
Most people do not need to test for COVID-19. Lab based PCR test for COVID-19 are available when requested by a primary care provider. If you are at risk of severe disease and develop symptoms consult with your primary care provider. If you do not have or cannot reach, your primary care provider, then you can call 811 or visit https://www.evisitnb.ca/ to be assessed. If you are having difficulty breathing or are experiencing other severe symptoms, call 911 immediately. Test results can be accessed through MyHealthNB. Register and access your COVID-19 information through MyHealthNB (PDF) In New Brunswick, distribution of rapid point of care tests to the general public ended on June 30th, 2024. Rapid tests are available for purchase online or at some community pharmacies.

I've been very worried.
Now that I'm sitting here recovering from my second Covid infection, I'm even more worried for myself and my child who is also recovering.

This is true of most disabilities. People think they’re the exception. That we’ve done something “wrong”. It’ll be different for them

Disability can & does happen to everyone.

Anyone else in New Brunswick experiencing awful plow service this year?
The fact that at 7:30 am, when it's slushy and still snowing, one of the main highways between Moncton and Miramichi (#126) hasn't been plowed is ridiculous.
Why is there no overnight road maintenance anymore?
