There's a bit of a plan to get a new cd player - various reasons but another week of dodgy interknits stirring nostalgia for time before streaming - so Madame thinking she would dig out the old Inspirals album. Turns out just one problem... *crumbles to pile of ancient dust*

A Gentle Rain is definitely winning for foggy brain compatible game play. Can be played by one person. Satisfyingly sturdy tiles & pretty wooden counters. Simple instructions. Which begin with excellent advice - "Get comfortable..."

A little treat for Foggy Brain.
Both games are lovely to look at. So far "A Gentle Rain" is much easier to understand. Only issue so far is that the tiles can spread out so needs a bit of space. A gentle sitting on the floor on a rainy day relaxation.

Yes. M&S do have big department stores with clothes & home stuff but also have some smaller food only stores. Home of Great British culinary classics - the Colin the Caterpillar cake & Percy Pigs 👍

But that is lovely! This is the closest we have got to being creative recently. Haven't played with Lego (apart from setting up a wee Fozzie Bear mini figure) since... hmmmmm? I probably still had fur 🤔

Madame thinks it was her old friend Jim who introduced her Tom Lehrer. She thought Jim gave her this box set but turns out it was a gift from her dad. Jim & The Daddy both died a couple of years ago so many memories are happening this morning.

After a few slightly disappointing fantasy & horror novels, Madame has decided on a wee change of pace for the next read. Don't know much about this book but judging it on the cover, it isn't a rollicking tale of 17th century piratical bears. Just a guess.

A bit of a catch up occurred last night. Saga continues to be strange & surprising & silly & sad.
Unfortunately the combination of sitting & words & thinking have not been appreciated by the MEcfs 😵💫🤢🥺 MEcfs can away & raffle itself 👍

I think I might have to start my Bear + Shark co-operation by explaining that although they might think this is an obviously aggressive GET OUT MY SEA & AWAY FROM MY DEAD WHALE stance, it actually makes them look kind of adorable. Needs more GRRRRRRRRRR!
