Also a fun thing - I knew there was a photo of Millie that looked exactly like the face Starbuck made the day we got her. I found the picture. Tell me they don't look similar. Same everything, honestly.

other rabbit people will absolutely understand all of this. I dunno. I love all of our pets. I love our rabbits fiercely because I know they're underloved in society in general, and they're very much unapologetically themselves when given space (pet tax: dearly departed Hellraiser and Beetlejuice)

Genuinely getting bunny kisses for the first time from our grumpy little red-eyed white rescue bunny, she who communicates with teeth, was like. One of the happiest moments in my life. Bun kisses are so so precious.

This is Starbuck Carmilla Sagan [surname]. She is small, and mighty, and very fucking terrifyingly smart. She has Anfisa/angy cat no banana vibes. She is also incredibly in love with us both, and her face is so like Millie it physically hurts with all the love and grief I hold in me to look at her.

Please enjoy our little hognose, Cirilla Sriracha the Fucking Disaster, patiently waiting for food. (if she looks a bit weird and kinked, she has some rib deformities from a potential crush/abuse situation before we adopted her). Look at her beautiful colours!!

Here is the new boy bun on the left we're trying bonding to our two! He was dumped on a tow path with another white rabbit (who alas has not yet be found) and was so so scared of us only a week ago. He's come on so well. I really hope the bonding works out. He's such a sweetheart.

I just wanted to whine about it because UGH but had some nice conversations off the back of it (because of course I was the Aggressive Autistic Brown Queer in the room who waded in waving a metaphorical sabre grumping about it all). And those conversations and chats were affirming.

Amongst overgrown long grass in a back garden is a black cat, partially hidden by the tall grass. She is a little black short-haired cat with thin green slits for eyes as she is slow blinking happily. She has a white patch of fur on her chest and a tiny nose. The grass is taller than her.

She's so beautiful. And reminds me a little of one of my cats!

The cat has regal bearing, and although he is all white, he has a black nose, a tiny black spot over his right eye, and black tinges to the edges of his ears. He has placed one paw on top of the brown human's hand, as if to say that he owns this human. His eyes are slightly narrowed in contentment, and they are a light murkey yellow green colour. His muzzle is pronounced and looks like a smaller version of a maine coon and British short-hair cat face.

Maybe cause donkeys and rabbits are similar in some ways and rabbits seem to like me? Fuck knows. We will definitely go back though. Driving back through rural countryside was glorious though.

This is Amityville Scream Hellspawn, née Horror, and she is a Calamity and we Adore her oh my god. Never have a house again without a red eyed white rabbit. She is tiny and no one wanted her because of her looks, which tips my "she was unwanted? No, now I love her even more" feelings into overdrive.
There is a horizontal blue litter tray, which is actually one of those little starter rabbit cages they sell you, filled with hay and completely open in the enclosure. A very large white grey rabbit is flopped on the left hand side looking content. On the right side of the litter tray is a small white rabbit with red eyes staring into the camera. Her ears are up and you can almost make out her red eyes.

Big white rabbit Hellspawn just did his first big side flop as a solo bun, bless him. I've been sitting with him for ages and just existing near him when I'm not actively working and he seems a bit less sad. Content enough to flop, anyway. He slept for a bit like this until he woke himself up.

Millicent Hux has discovered the joys of silvervine catnip and is High As Balls. Absolutely lost in the sauce. Basically turning into a Dune Navigator.

Starting to look more and more like Eskel!
A cross stitch worked in primarily pinks, purples and peach tones of a man's face from shoulders up. The face is Eskel, a character from the Witcher 3 game. He has a close mouthed smile and lots of facial scarring. Most of the stitches are filled in but there are some blank patches. The background is plain and unfilled so far, but has some small white stars on the right hand side. The piece is being worked on a horizontal scroll frame. In the background of the photo is various craft bits and pieces.

It looks pretty standard but tastes so so good.
A white plate containing yakisoba, a Japanese dish of stir fried noodles and assorted vegetables, finished with a yakisoba brown sauce. The noodles and vegetables are all tinged brown, and the vegetables present are spring onion, carrots, and cabbage. There are also slices of McDonald's chicken nuggets. On the right half of the dish Japanese mayonnaise has been drizzled on.
