Most entertaining beer for me at the Beer People Fest yesterday at ChangChui Creative Park was this tamarind-chili homebrew—“Zaap Zeed” is basically “hot & spicy”—maybe the most capsaicin-forward beer I’ve had.

Lunch... Tomyum Mama (instant) noodle with hot-smoked salmon, somtum-inspired spicy mango-carrot slaw, fried egg... right before I messed it all up.

Mookrata... Great fun. Like a hybrid of hotpot and Korean-style tabletop grilling. Hugely popular in Thailand, but this was my first time (though I've done plenty of hotpot here). This was less than $10 (339 baht) for all you can eat. Only beer was extra, but also not expensive.
