Yes Viv - we drive now only when necessary and it's never a pleasure. The last decade has saturated roads with vehicles and is a far cry from the more laid back driving attitudes of the '70's and '80's. So many distractions (not least phones and media) now you take your life in hand venturing out !

I usually see driving in my city from the pavement or from my seat on the bus and I’m appalled. So glad I gave up driving six years ago, as I wouldn’t be able to deal with the selfish idiots who weave from lane to lane, speed, drive through red lights and pull out of side streets without looking

Standards generally are abysmal in the uk now. #Fuckyoudriving is rapidly becoming the norm. Sticking to the speed limits (in place for a reason) alone would make a world of difference to the accident stats and adjusting to weather conditions isn't rocket science. A,B and C roads aren't race tracks.

👍 Similarly, I’m enjoying their 21st century LPs. Walk Between Worlds and Direction of the Heart especially. And the live LPs are very strong. Live in the City of Diamonds especially.
