Keep a look out–there was a sighting of the legendary Bessie, Lake Erie’s monster on the Cuyahoga River this afternoon. Her scales looked suspiciously like recovered plastics from Lake Erie. Lesson from today’s events - “The Real Monster here is Plastic!”

Because of the environmental and health impacts of this plastic explosion, Third Actors protested outside of the annual Plastic Recycling World Expo in Cleveland this morning. Plastic recycling, particularly “Chemical” recycling is a myth with less than 10% of plastics being recycled worldwide.
