You never know what you're going to get in a saggar pit fired work. This came out blackened after the pit firing and I decided to re-bisque. Once the carbon burns away some colors come out to play. Mica terra sigillata, banana peel, Himalayan salt, Epsom salt, ferric chloride, and some other things

Finished the final carved details after adding some stamped slabs of texture. This one feels like it should be called, 'Ostara'. It was a fun and joyous raku clay make. Drying and waiting for bisque fire.

It was time to smash and try again. There was too much glaze run damage to the bottoms. Beautiful glaze, but try again! 🤣😂🤪😎🔥🌀☕

Glazed and ready to go in the gas kiln. Cone 10 bound! Base is oribe green with a dip in rutile for the top layer.
