I don't know if it was my sci-fi first per se, but I feel like Stephen Baxter's Xeelee Sequence books really set the tone for what would become my favourite genre of books. This isn't the first of the series, but the first i remember reading is Timelike Infinity.

If you need a mask, you are not on the side of good. Straight up, IMO. I work in law enforcement, in Canada, never needed a mask.

Avoiding a split in Wpg Centre actually probably means voting NDP. But that riding is basically a win-win either NDP or LIB is good.

I was up on the stage behind. Lots of energy in the room. As you mention pretty muted on carbon tax ending, but anti-US and anti-PeePee stuff landed well. I liked most of what he talked about. It was cool to see a PM kinda almost kick off in WPG, we're often mostly forgotten about in elections
