Industrial spiral dough mixer #lowpoly propwork WIP for an upcoming #goldsrc map project. 1399 triangles, 3 textures (one being matcap)

Industrial dough mixer with hand guard down Inside of mixing bowl with guard up. Matcap texture was used for the metals Main texture 512x512, mostly mirrored UVs , done in photoshop. Guard grill 256x128, alphatest transparency. 64x64 matcap image for dynamic metals.

coool. I still have my Sony DCR-H30 I got in 2004, tho sadly the CCD is dead and the touchscreen controls don't work anymore. However, I can still access the MiniDV tape functions via FireWire control through a video editor which is neat. I did need an older driver rollback just to use it.

Said prop I made in blender that caused issues, the trackbar was bleeding light. I did fix the UVs but in future I think the emissive lightbulb would be its own separate object parented into the fixture so it would be isolated.

#3dprinting tests from a while back with semi-translucent filament. Sculpt done years ago in sculptris. Printed with no infill or structure due to blocking light but that has its own issues with printing.

#lowpoly food props made for halflife format gibmodels & chopped variants. Each texture no bigger than 128x128. Used a bunch of UV mirroring, and tiling. Round models had their texture made for tiling on one axis on the top 1/2 of the texture.

Assorted #lowpoly props I made last few days. Phone cord I used the same technique as the CounterStrike2 diffuser kit: simple cylinder with a tiling transparent wire texture UV'd diagonally. Each texture no bigger than 128x128.

Got back to finishing the barfridge model. Made with #blender & Substance painter. Another prop added to my #VRChat worldbuilding props.

The highpoly subdivided model compared to the lowpoly final. The high contrast Vertex colors on the highpoly are ID masks for substance painter. Note that if using vertex colors, you have to specify in substance baker to use them instead of material based colors. Substance painter after baking and final texturing. I had to make a custom cage in blender to make the bake better in substance. Final in blender display and in wireframe mode. Lowpoly final model was 3478 triangles. UNITY export version with standard shader in Viewport
