Die Person hat Geld in die Hand genommen (Anwalt) um Unterlassung zu erklären. Das ist die juristische Version einer Entschuldigung und zeugt vom Bewusstsein des eigenen Fehlverhaltens. Einsicht oder Angst, hier wurde etwas gelernt.
War’s das erste mal? Dann würde ich es dabei belassen.

If you keep having that problem, you might want to treat the spot (alcohol, paint with fungicide).
Have you tried that? I have had good experiences with the special paint around the window in the bathroom. Kept mould away for several seasons.
