Unfortunately no. It’s cool to wander under it, but you can not enter it like the one in the Museum of Flight.
I once saw a section of a prototype (?) at the FAST museum. Such a tiny cross section!

Space shuttle Discovery at the National Air and Space museum (Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, VA).
I knew the shuttle was a big piece of equipment, but it was really impressive up close!
I also loved seeing the wear and tear of 39 missions to space between 1984 and 2011 on it 😯

I knew the shuttle was a big piece of equipment, but it was really impressive up close!

In April of 2020, TXL was a little over 6 months away from being closed for good. The usually very busy operation had temporarily ground to a halt due to Covid.
That was my bucket list moment to log a landing at this iconic airport.
