Ne serait-ce donc pas le même Erwan Szenec qui a fait un procès d'intention à des bénévoles de Wikipedia parce que (si je me souviens bien) môssieur n'a pas aimé qu'on lui fasse remarquer que le journal pour lequel il travaille fut, à ses heures perdues, un chouïa antisémite ?

Arrêtons de penser que les lauréats d'un Nobel sont des toutologues : ils sont indéniablement reconnus dans leur disciplines, mais ne peuvent pas exercer la même rigueur de pensée sur les maints sujets abordés dans une matinale. Reconnaissons-les pour leurs avancées, invitons les pour celles-ci.

Quelques personnes que j'ai pu côtoyer ont eu la clairvoyance de dire que le capitalisme se consumera de lui même; sans prendre le recul nécessaire pour remarquer qu'il préférera nous broyer au passage, dans son incessante quête de survie.

Difficile de leur reprocher de ne pas rapporter une information qui est tombée au moment où leurs magazines étaient mis en place sur les rayons… Pour une fois que ce n'est pas de leur faute !

Let me tell you: I hadn't seen this image prior to seeing the movies in cinemas. I was absolutely astounded at this whole sequence in the theater, the warmth of the image and the quality of its materials were absolutely spot on. Great work by you and your team!

Knowing now you studied political science, it makes much more sense why you'd be so (rightfully) upset about the acclimation to fascism in the current media landscape.

While skimming through the paper, I could not find any potential applications to tomography. Could you expand a bit more on that ?
The only thing I can see would be to apply your method to bypass the tomographic image reconstruction and get a mesh directly from the "raw" CT signal: which is hard!

I've sometimes seen this shorthand for a change of variable inside the integration domain (mainly on optimal transport and measure theory papers).
In that case, your 't' is a (lerped?) variable between x_a and x_b, just as you implied in your second post. Was 'x' defined somewhere else before?

I've now come across your (impressive looking) plugin a couple times in the last few days. Do you have any blog/bsky/other posts on how the plugin works under the hood ? The documentation is pretty light on details, and I'd be interested on how you do it, to possibly adapt it to a toy renderer 😅

Il a peut etre une utilité indirecte pour les prochaines élections: tenter de grapiller quelques électeurs macronistes, ou bien des LR ne se reconnaissant plus dans le tournant Retaillo-Darmano-facho du parti.

Du peu que je l'ai entendu récemment, il reste un très bon diplomate, et lucide face au rôle que doit jouer la France dans les conflits actuels.
De là à le qualifier de bon candidat face aux attentes du paysage politico-médiatique actuel, il y a un (très grand) pas.

What's the core language of your renderer ? Did you have to do any interop between the SwiftUI elements and your own code ?

What strikes me in this (admittedly still in beta) UI system is the number of different font sizes & weights.
I would have thought the top buttons would have their labels *inside* the button, next to its icon and the same size as the main window label, as shown here for "Delete" / "Continue".
