Kentaro Miura - Berserk Deluxe Vol. 6 (1998-9, reread)

the ending of lost children always makes me cry. the conviction arc isn't my favorite, but serpico might be the coolest berserk character, and i love farnese's initial characterization as a sadomasochistic pervert.

#6: Neil Young with Crazy Horse - Everybody Knows This is Nowhere (10/10)

crazy horse's debut, and the album that made me instantly fall in love with them. a couple of the slower songs are somewhat forgettable, but the two ten-minute jams are so beyond iconic that no other songs are even needed.

you could be producer. handle the social media provide kneeling cushions etc it's way less work and you get to take like 20% AND you wouldn't have to touch or speak directly to any podcasters

don't undersell yourself i'm sure you'd be able to pull through

#5: Townes Van Zandt - S/T (7/10)

was instantly impressed by zandt's ability as a songwriter, although i would've liked some more stylistic variety on here. still, i'd heard covers of "lungs" before and it's one of my all-time favorite folk songs. looking forward to getting to know this one.

the culmination of the eclipse is of course brutal, but the real star of the show here for me is the lost children arc. equal parts touching and sickening and a great way to get back into the swing of things w/ the black swordsman stuff.
