AN ALMOST CHRISTMAS STORY is so charming. It really captures the spirit of Rankin & Bass with a modern flair. Great ear wormy music, cute story and beautiful animation. It’s a treat. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend checking it out on Disney+.

Here’s my annual recommendation to check out Bobs Burgers S13 E10 “The Plight Before Christmas”. It’s more than just a great holiday episode of the show, it’s a modern Christmas special classic in my humble opinion. Works even if you’ve never followed the series. It’s lovely. 🎄

The Snowball Protocol is very much the Return of Jafar version of Prep & Landing. It’s fine, but feels like a cheaper version of the original(s). Almost like an episode of a TV series spinoff. If you follow my meaning.
