Though the political arena has me a bit fearful, I take heart that I have the courage to break free of the gender identity prison I've been in since childhood. It took a while, but I'm slowly settling myself free one day at a time.

Something I've been trying to learn to do more often. Sadly there have been times when I've done this and been made to feel guilty for doing. Must remember to not listen to toxic people.
