That reminds the only sentence I remember from my boring Latin lessons is "Scorpio sub lapide est". The scorpion is under the rock. I don't remember the other sentences I learned over 2 years of Latin lessons, only that they were as boring as this one.

Duolingo's process has been hot garbage for a while, and as a translator you can immediately tell the sentences the app is feeding you are made by AI, because it's stuff that never has any applicable real-world use.
