I have never come to terms with the loss of my friends, and while I keep saying I'm fighting for THEM, I need to take time to truly mourn them. My trauma has been a driving decision for me my entire life, and advocating to save kids just like my friends just cut too damn deep.

Given that I’m not on a GAG order by my employer I really feel like telling folks how toxic it is to work for one of the big five health insurance companies. They promote those who make it nothing more than a toxic CYA environment while punishing those that make them look good.

I no longer have faith in humanity at this point. Not after all the things I’ve seen and stumbled onto in the name of advocating for literacy and mental health. I sit on three superintendent advisory boards/committees & my faith in redeeming public school is not being restored.

It’s been one thing after another this year and I’ve been through this before when my son was three. My employer back then was also a POS & tortured everyone. (Have to love the IT industry) I went down to a size 0 & my gut was on STRIKE. So I’m back to that place again & it sucks bc I miss normal.

Mind and gut 100% play together.
Since my PTSD has been diagnosed all over again thanks to the redneck superintendent from Hall County, I’ve lost an obscene amount of weight. Went on FMLA to get “better” but my employer has f’d me over repeatedly for a month, which led to more weight loss.
