Clinically-normal skin harbours widespread, sub-clinical fields of BRAF V600E-mutant melanocytes, which are oncogene-primed but apparently dormant. These fields concentrated around naevi & melanomas may represent a field cancerization. @thestarklab.bsky.social url: academic.oup.com/bjd/article/...
