Tumbling won’t squish anything though some claim it might work harden it a bit. I haven’t experienced that though I omitted that step long ago because I prefer hand finished satin rather than high polish.

It’s so cool and it’s hard to tell but it almost has a little crystallized rivulet in there too. Reminds me of a mosaic.
