I was able to get the new, enhanced Xbox Series X version of Red Dead Redemption for free cos I bought the original on the 360 store FIFTEEN YEARS AGO. You gotta admit, that's pretty cool.

Currently enjoying Assassin's Creed: Mirage. The combat is rubbish, but the setting is gorgeous, exploration is fun and the music is awesome. Fab stuff.

I was exploring New Zealand in MS Flight Simulator and I discovered you can visit the Hobbiton film set. They've rendered wee Hobbit holes and everything. There's also a Monty Python poster inside Bag End.

I'm getting quite depressed by really big games that want to take over my life. Just stop and leave me alone. I have other things I wanna do, you know.

After four months and 124 hours I've only just finished episode nine of Death Stranding 2. There's EIGHT more to go.
I don't know how much more I can keep on keeping on. It's just... too much.

I have a strong stomach with horror games and VR but I had to turn off RE: Village in PSVR 2 after an hour or so cos it was just so damn REAL.
It's one of the best looking VR experiences I've ever had and that made it even more disturbing, distressing and downright trouser ploppin'. Fuckin' hell.

I've been playing the beta of MSFS 2024 on PS5 and I'm very surprised. It's so much more punchy and responsive and overall a vastly smoother experience than on Xbox. Things that have been broken on Xbox for months are fixed here and everything loads so much faster. A few glitches aside, this rocks.

I didn't really gel with it the first time so I'm giving The Sinking City another go. I think this time I get it. Adoring the smelly, grimy filth and the whole wretched vibe of everything. It's lovely.

I just managed to loosen the brakes on my bike, take the rear wheel off, fix a puncture and put it all back together again. Haven't done this since about 1987 so I'm well CHUFFED.
