The RSO in the sky
@thersointhesky.bsky.social
Former Range Safety Officer and firearms instructor, can generally be found on a range, playing video games, or in the immediate proximity of an airplane.
Takeoffs are optional, landings are mandatory.
Need I remind you that Baldwin, who criminally and negligently killed Hutchins, is a hypocritical gun-grabber who accuses gun owners of being dangerous? The criminal acts of an individual, or group of individuals, have no bearing on anyone else’s right to keep and bear arms, least of all Baldwin.

And some criminals never face justice.

“fatal shooting”?
You misspelled “murder of Halyna Hutchins“

It’s so good to see that this fantastic gentleman is still getting the attention that he deserves. Climb unrestricted, sir.

How so? He’s reporting on a fact. How is that “selling out”?

Notice how they used Trump’s old portrait.

But… but… Zuckerberg said that he was going to reduce censorship! You don’t mean to say that… he lied?!

We disagree, because you are demonstrably, factually, and historically incorrect.

The context then is relevant in perpetuity.

Funny, the framers were quite clear, in the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and in their letters

“Wartime exception” LOL

So rights are only worth exercising when it’s convenient to YOU in particular. Got it.

Still waiting for a Ferguson Breech-loader or Kalthoff kit.
December 3, 2024 at 2:18 AM
Building your own gun is fun.

It is also INHERENTLY protected by the Constitution, and therefore kits (which themselves ARE NOT firearms) for engaging in such an activity is as well. For example: my competitive target sports pistol.

Sorry, I accidentally donated to @gunpolicy.bsky.social instead. Oopsies!

“bUt WHat AboUt TObaCcO?”

Tobacco is an addictive substance, the use of which is inherently and directly harmful regardless of how you use it, which companies try to market as perfectly safe, and there is no specific right to use tobacco.

The same is not true for guns.

Buying arms is the simplest means of exercising the constitutionally enumerated right to keep & bear them. Therefore selling them is constitutionally protected. Requiring sellers to put up signs which are specifically intended to discourage legal sales by intimidating citizens is unconstitutional.
December 3, 2024 at 2:04 AM
I’ll make you a deal: if lobbyists (and their organizations) seeking to infringe upon constitutional rights ALL have their faces tattooed with warnings (tyranny, corruption, totalitarianism, government monopoly on violence, etc.), then gun stores still don’t put up the signs.
December 3, 2024 at 1:58 AM
Same goes for all marginalized groups.

Unfortunately, society discourages gun ownership among women, making them more vulnerable to abusers and other predators. Guns are a force multiplier, and a right that all decent people are entitled to.

I am a simple man. I see a C&R, like that Makarov, and I like the post.

Unfortunately, you advocate mandates within the home, so that like is hereby revoked.

That silenced him pretty quickly!

Look at my home state of California!

“Assault weapons” and other guns are banned, and legally carrying is discouraged as a matter of policy.

We also have deaths of school children, police, civilians, and immigrants, and gangs armed with banned guns (including machine guns) are running rampant.

Musk will have Trump exempt Tesla from the tariffs. Mark my words.
