Game #8 of 2025 - Doom The Dark Ages on Xbox Series X
The Dark Ages was great and I loved the shield and parrying. A little too much map searching but still really engaging. Not as good as 2016 but better than Eternal. The music was weird though with long stretches of silence.

Game #7 of 2025 - Avowed on Xbox Series X
I really liked this one. A much more combat focused Elder Scrolls style game. Also much like the Outer Worlds from them a couple years ago I believe with choose you own adventure style choices it made for a very good time.

Oh yeah Balatro progress to start my Saturday! Magic Deck Orange Stake is completed. Now I just need to beat Gold Stake to complete the Magic deck.

Very few gaming moments bring me the satisfaction of knocking out Mad Clown in Super Punch-Out!! He always gives me such a hard time so it's always great to wreck this dude

My Wife and I Finished watching the 1st season of The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man today. I really liked it and can't wait for the next season. Nice take on the origin story, and overall some great characters.

What a fun idea for a game. I saw @giantbomb.bsky.social playing it as a race and had to give it a shot. Really liked it. I guess I'll try for the achievements if they aren't too rough.

Played it on Switch as part of the Cowabunga Collection. I beat it years ago on NES but never completed the arcade version. Still love it. Love the drop in / drop out game play
