REAPER, the Digital Audio Workstation I use, which is considered the best DAW by many, including myself, has no DRM and a demo with 0 limits, which never expires. It just nags you sometimes

EA execs are legitimately stupid people. i have no other explanation at this point as to how they can possibly be this tone-deaf, out of touch and terrible at their jobs.

now theyve come up with these mini-packs to entice people to gamble through gradually increasing prices per-pack, starting from 100 apex coins. truly bottom of the barrel, shameless stuff. their desperation is so transparent, it's as clear as daylight, yet they'll do anything but make a good game

Apex has to be the worst managed and most neglected multiplayer game I've ever seen in my life. they had a golden goose and not even that was enough. they even resorted to putting skins from previous battle passes in packs so that people can gamble

the average player numbers on steam have hit a lower level than January of 2021, a bit after crossplay and the Steam version had just come out...

yes, I assume more than Destiny 2's playerbase. theres immense hatred surrounding the game from loyal players like me, because they keep spitting on us and mocking us with every update. they just recycled the $400 final fantasy collab from 2024. this game doesnt respect its playerbase and it shows:

these are AWESOME!!! i really love the bold, blocky geometric style with sharp lines and deep perspective! reminds me of soviet constructivism and, coupled with the color palette, although different in style, it reminds me of the work of Aleksander Rostov (Disco Elysium)!
