We used a ridgeline (Joy Division inspired) chart to visualise daily temperature anomalies since 1940.
2024 clearly stands out with 100% of its days above 1.3C and 75% above 1.5C.

I have already boycotted Meta by removing profiles. I am now tinkering with blocking their websites at the domain level (right now, using uBlock) because I simply do not trust any of my data going to folks like this.

Folks are mostly missing the forest for the trees re: the recent Meta announcement. Specifically, the focus on the move from fact checking to community notes. There two different changes that are a much bigger deal that have received less focus. 🧵 1/11
