Can't wait to get my hands on a pair of those nipples!

Seems like pretty much the same thing

What a cozy little corner for some armor.
I hope nothing evil spawns when I grab it.

Being a giant math idiot I find it 6000% more helpful to visualize these issues just like that. I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I'm only capable of one of those two methods.

Thanks man! Just replying to say that your Doom mapping tutorial videos were quite valuable to me when I first started playing with GZDoom. Cheers!

That would require me make some particles and you know art is not my strong point 😂
Point taken though.

Probably going to need that to line up a suspension

Oh my god 6 wheels works out of the box
November 4, 2025 at 6:05 PM
Technically all of the checks could all be done with one actor, but you would still need more actors to represent the wheels visually.
And I secretly want to do a 6 wheeled vehicle for fun.
November 4, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Each wheel is an actor that simulates the suspension force and does the collision checks. The spring forces are applied to the main body which converts everything back to standard forces and euler rotations.

I was feeling those Stunt Race FX vibes when recording that. Such a ridiculously tall suspension for no reason.
November 4, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Yeah it's great! This is not an entirely new physics system though just a big ol' fudge against the existing one! There is still a AABB in the middle there taking all of the forces and moving the actor.

It's really fun how much you can get away with with some trickery.

My god that video quality is something. Oh well.

You could skip the AI step and just steal the art from people you follow. I hear all the big boys are doing it these days.

🎖 Runner up 2: @drdubz.bsky.social ($250)

Not only is it a great composition with a dynamic pose, but the added text commenting on Selaco's meta gameplay was a nice touch. We recall that being added later as a resubmission.

Great work!

🥇WINNER: Charles Lemor ($400)

This piece is fantastic! We love the striking reds, the contrast on Dawn and that stylish flair throughout. We've always wanted to explore a more stylized direction in our promotional art and this felt incredibly inspiring.

Congratulations!
