The Democratic Party is broken. Maybe it can fixed, and maybe not. In the meantime all progressives/left/non-MAGA need to move onward.

This is great, but what about the entire system cost? Has the dropped? A full residential solar system is still quite expensive to install from scratch correct?

That is the kicker and something that still needs work. Many cool ideas but all very costly and complex. Good thing most people aren’t vampires so usage is down for a good portion of that time.

I’d be more ok with lifetime appointments (with common sense limitations) if the number of justices was increased. At least allowing a revolving door and some representation of younger generations.

Definitely. If only the technological changes in the last 50 years and the many impacts on privacy, weapons, trade. That alone should merit some major updating.

I made a similar comment on congressional districts. A simple north to south/ east to west based on zip codes and population. Take the “human intervention” out of the equation.

We need reform on our entire system from Citizens United and the electoral college and even the Supreme Court. I could be wrong, but just correcting course toward these unifying goals and less MAGA rhetoric would be welcomed at this point.

Oh I have no doubt that Trump is just the useful idiot funded by all sorts of interests from Russia to Israel to Christian Fundamentalists to Corporations. But he isn’t alone and it is a huge problem world wide. Not sure if that will be fixed in one election either.

I’m with you on all of these points. I think that there is a place for a charismatic outsider/third party type figure that can appeal to the masses that feel disenfranchised. The problem is I’m not sure if this person exists on the left. Trump was this for the right. Even if he is just a puppet.

You’re right. Although I would argue that Mayor of NY and POTUS are very different races. I’m not a big fanboy of Gavin either, although he’s a great politician. A big reason that Trump is able to hold onto power is that he is well known and his base is willing to look past many of his faults.
