Finally got around to refurbishing one of my first failed attempts at custom trainers from years ago, the Dredd Superstars. Pretty happy with how they've come out, but we'll see if my efforts hold up to me actually wearing them outside 😅

Nice to come home from work to post like this! Most excited about @michaelmisrubbish.bsky.social’s book, great surprise to get a wee Physics record and badge thrown in! Jaysus, I miss We Are The Physics, if only there was another band like them. Maybe with just 3 members. Oh well, I can dream.

I had a go at doing this digital #watercolour #landscape #painting based off a pencil #sketch I did of my Papa’s old #farm, Kirkland, located in #Torthorwald in the #Scottish Borders. This is how I remember it. It’s basically a scrap yard now, which saddens me. I miss it.
A digital painting of a farmhouse and its outbuildings. The view is from the main road beside the farm and the buildings are set lower. The stone buildings comprise the single story main house at the left of the foreground, with an outbuilding only slightly smaller to the right, almost in the centre of the painting. Further right at a 90 degree angle to the byre are two further small outbuildings. Finally to the far right of the foreground stands another building which we see end-on. This building forms a loose square courtyard with the other outbuildings and ran the length of it back up to the road. In the background we can see fields going back to hills on the horizon. The landscape is studded with hedgerows, some trees and occasional small buildings, both other houses and agricultural in nature. The are some sheep in the extreme distance on the right.

Went to see @slimecitymusic.bsky.social, @fightmilkband.bsky.social and Miss The Occupier at Stereo in #Glasgow tonight and all 3 bands were absolutely brilliant. Came home with my very own version of musical legend The Shoe. What a great night.

Vantacat is not normally a big one for snuggles with her brothers, so when it happens I know Scottish Winter™ has fully arrive. She alternates between here and her Winter Radiator Tube Palace, I'm assuming theres some sort of formal review incoming.
