Spring is coming, and I can already feel more colorful days ahead 👀

I almost forgot how much LLMs and modern frameworks like SwiftUI have reduced development time

I remember spending 3 weeks on a similar feature during my first project. This time, it took me a couple of hours

The icing on the cake: Users can add extra to scheduled payments and instantly see how much interest they’ll save

Spent last evening with a beer and Snowball updates—redesigned the payment cells. Didn’t like the old ones, but had to leave them to finally release the app. The new ones are much cleaner

Additionally added scheduled payments for the convenience

Somebody paid for this lead

Added soft paywall to earn a few bucks.

The app is almost at the finish line — just the final stretch left

Have you paid out your debt? Time for celebration!

My favorite feature: Instantly calculate when you’ll be debt-free using the Snowball Method.

One tap could save you years on your loans

The UI is designed specifically not to show total loan amounts

No need to stress over how huge it is. No need to feel like your payments are just drops in the ocean

Just fill the squares and enjoy the process

How do you motivate users to pay off their loans faster?

Show them exactly how much money and time they’ll save by making extra payments—simple and visual

I’ve already built Savelope app for step 1️⃣ and Sponder app for step 2️⃣.

Now, here’s a sneak peek for step 3️⃣ 👀

Here are my 2024 results.
In 2024 I made countless app changes. Only a few actually increased revenue—most were either useless or downright harmful.

Two takeaways:
1️⃣ Experiment as much as possible. The winners may surprise you.
2️⃣ Measure EVERYTHING. Faith isn’t a strategy, data is.

All done! ✅
What an action-packed week! #BuildInPublic is going well.

Spend Sunday with your loved ones and drink more water.

See you on Monday! 👋

Adding a few tweaks and UI improvements to the new update—now it looks much cleaner. Weird that I didn’t fix this earlier

Made great progress yesterday!

Adding iCloud sharing support with modern CoreData was a breeze. I even had time to add sharing status indicators for challenges.

Everything looks smooth and minimalistic.

Another kilometer is added.

Other cool metric I’ve noticed is HRV. Today it was above normal. That was the sign that my body could sustain more training load.

Indeed, despite feeling myself like shit for the whole day, the training itself was much easier than usual

Today I’ve managed to spend most time running in Zone 2. The result is mindblowing!

Not only I’ve managed to increase the distance by 2 km, but it was much easer training overall.

That’s even more amazing considering the low traction due to the snow

That’s it. This year I will conquer those fucking 21 km

Merry Christmas everyone!

It is only 364 days until the next one. A great time to start saving for the presents 2025! 🎅🏻

Sent my last Savelope update in 2024. Finally added dark and tinted icons, so now it looks like it should in 2025
