This. I gave a student a 62% on a final. Hebpitched a fit so the Chair and I asked a third, fully tenured prof to degrade the exam. He gave it a 59%. He pitched another fit and was politely told to fuck off.

Universities calling students "customers" while caving to the donor class leads ...
Everyone saying ”giving that essay a zero was probably too harsh, I would have given it like a 70% to avoid conflict” are perfectly demonstrating how the us education system has been successfully dismantled.

This is one of my favorite posters - because I *always* learn something. I think, hete, he is not factoring in that this slogan is essentially the same old same old from Democrats: they never change the structure. they just try to reinforce it. The structure is what led us here in the first place.
This will probably get me yelled at, because I can see the consensus forming here that "strong floors, no ceiling" is the dumbest of all possible slogans. I would argue that it's actually not that bad, but that it's wrong for this moment (please read 🧵before yelling at me)...

The news has entirely failed to grasp the unprecedented scope of the ICE and DHS budgets. Nothing like it in modern history. Oh well.

I'm kind of tired of hearing politicians say "Violence has no place in America," when clearly violence does have a place in America. Our whole culture is soaked in it. It's on TV, in video games, in movies, and so on. The question is, why are we so violent and how do we stop it?

The takeover of government is one of the most under-reported stories of the gigantic wealth redistribution upwards.

We need candidates who will not allow this to continue.
Scoop: Provisions of the NDAA that would ensure military members’ right to repair their own equipment are set to be removed from the funding act, replaced by language that will require the military to pay subscription fees to defense contractors via “data-as-a-service.”

United Health wants its ‘swagger back’.

How? By dropping a million seniors from Medicare Advantage

Why? America's largest insurer wants to improve its profit margins, medical costs are skyrocketing because the GOP cut Medicaid and ACA subsidies.

This is 100% true. Just look at Google which used to be valuable and now is just serving up shit.
I’m sure I’m gonna get dragged for this, but I think AI is bad. AI has completely ruined Google search and it’s created a lot more slop that needs to be avoided on the Internet.

White supremacy has TWO pillars: racism & misogyny. The media continues to ignore that because the media is still overwhelmingly controlled by men.

But, to be clear, "anti-woke" has always meant "white supremacy."
Since February, according to my latest analysis, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined. The November 20, 2025, Jobs Report makes clear this isn’t a blip. It’s a structural crisis. That is not a recovery. It is a redistribution of opportunity.

The Washington Post editorial board decided the Epstein files have “no public interest” before even seeing them. That’s a stunning position for any newsroom to take. Praising Clay Higgins as the lone ‘no’ vote, too? No wonder no one trusts legacy media. Absolutely disgusting.

The fact that DHS was this easily converted into an internal police force that doesn't give a shit about the law or Constitution should make it clear that the agency needs to be abolished.

THREAD: Judge Ellis is the first federal judge to review extensive body cam video of DHS's actions in Chicago. She finds that DHS *repeatedly* misled the public and made claims that were disproven by agents' own videos.

It was the poets.
