One of my favourite paintings I have done that so reflects my commute back from teaching a full day to home in #LittleItaly … and I do have giclee prints! That’s me with the big forehead 😉

Somehow one feels that this timeline sucks at times
Is it any wonder why so many think the system is rigged against them?

Love this obit of Frank Gehry by Alex.

It's a shame he didn't design more in Toronto. Even when his work stands out, I find it still harmonizes with context. And his work at the AGO does an incredible job at weaving all the past layers of the building into a beautifully expressive design.

This is such a poor reflection on the driving public and their disregard for safety and the rule of law …
so our government made a big deal about banning speed cameras but one city left theirs running to see what difference the ban would make and you are not going to believe this

Trickle down effect?
Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

If telling the troops not to follow illegal orders is “sedition,” what do we call colluding with the Kremlin to manipulate the U.S. President into advancing Russian interests over America’s?

We design roads for speed. And we get speed. Want better results? Design better.

This is the product of a failed design process.

25.9 billion kilometres, for those of us who use metrics.

More exactly: 25,902,068,371.2 kilometres.

It’s a damn long way!

Voyager 1 was launched by NASA on September 5, 1977.
On November 15, 2026, Voyager 1 will be one light day away from Earth -- 16.1 billion miles, equivalent to the same distance light travels in 24 hours.
