I don't think xAI acquiring X will change anything that hasn't already been happening. I'm sticking around hoping @bsky.app can find a way to take off. There has to be some way to convenience the transition. 🤞🏻

Seeing the results of my efforts being shifted from my career to my children leaves guilt that the kids were without it for so long but nothing has ever been so rewarding as watching them thrive in what they were previously deprived. I would do this full-time for the rest of my life if I could!

Most of the @bsky.app is an improvement from X. However, it definitely needs a better way to find your friends. I appreciate that it doesn't immediately ask for access to your contacts but maybe adding the ability to search Nearby or a feature similar to the "Sky Follower Bridge" extension?

As much as it isn't comforting to me to know we all have our individual struggles, the human condition also means we're not alone in that difficulty. Those that are pushing through can be motivation to others, if only that is acknowledged and remembered. Endure.
