Actually I think I can do this. This turned out p okay considering the only embroidery I’ve done before was some sashiko for mending, and that this t shirt scrap fabric sucks

I didn't have time to draw new Halloween stuff, so here's some oldies but goodies... #art
Hawk and Numair dressed as Rocky and Frank-N-Furter respectively. Hawk is leaning back against a wall with one leg cocked up; Numair is perched on his thigh with his legs crossed, bracing himself with a hand on Hawk's neck. Teige (in pooka form) looming out of the darkness with a huge grin. He is dressed in a cheap robot costume but has removed the head, which is made out of a box with wire taped to it, showing his glowing eyes and sharp teeth.

Jean Marc Ah-Sen, who has published several books with small and independent presses, feels that he and his peers are being crowded out of their own game. “I used to think that the frontier of literary culture was the indie presses,” he says. “But when a person who has done three books with Penguin gets pushed down, it makes less room for the people who were doing the independent stuff to begin with.”

On the "Know Your Enemy" podcast, which is billed as "a leftist's guide to the conservative movement," the hosts complained that the left doesn't offer artistic transcendence like what was offered from a bunch of musicians playing B-rate adult contemporary tunes in a football stadium.

"Sorry, hon," Vlad said, grinning as he adjusted the harness around the horse's neck. "It's just that most of my nights out drinking usually ended in tears." "That so?" Teige said brightly. "Most of mine have ended with running from the Gardaí." "Well, try to avoid both tonight, okay?" Teige rested his huge head on top of Vlad's briefly. "Ah, I'm not after that sort of time ennyway. A gorgeous fall night and two aul ones catching up--just a nice bit of normalcy after all this last year and some, that's all I want." Vlad withdrew. "Fair enough. Go finish your shift and get to it, then." "Spare us a peck first?" Teige asked, and then lowered his head so Vlad could plant a kiss on the bridge of his broad nose. "And be careful yerself tonight." "I will," Vlad agreed, and Teige turned to go. "Enjoy your nice and normal boy's night!" "Aye." Teige broke into a trot, heading up the stone street towards a little bridge that crossed a canal. "And call if you get in trouble!" "Aye," Teige repeated as he went. "Luv ya!" One of Teige's ears twitched, and he paused at the top of the little bridge, looking back over his shoulder. Vlad was already on his way down the street in the opposite direction. "Hm," Teige mumbled after a moment of watching, and then continued on. The evening bells rang again, a shorter song this time, as Teige hung up his harness and bags on a peg labeled with his name. Other identical harnesses had already been hung on other pegs to either side, also labeled. "Teige, letter for you." The speaker was a grey-haired spirit in a blue uniform shirt, who thrust a clipboard at Teige. "Sign here." "Eh?" Teige said with some surprise. "Courier letter for the courier?" The spirit grunted in agreement as Teige took the clipboard from them. "It must be important, it's from the Palace." Teige made a face as he signed the form on the clipboard, and took the little orange envelope that had been attached to it. He returned the clipboard to the spirit and turned on his heel, saying cheerily, "Well, thanks Meril, see ya later." Meril had heavy-lidded eyes that weren't given over to expressiveness, but their interest was betrayed by an arched eyebrow, and by asking, "Ah, not going to open it?" "Not likely," Teige replied, crinkling the envelope as he tucked it in his back pocket. He threw up a sort of salute as he headed out the open bay door into the evening. "I'm trying to have a good night." The bells were chiming again as he reached the courtyard of the little complex; the daylight was all but gone. "Oi, Hawk!" he hollered. "Sun's a-setting, let's go!" Hawk hollered back from his window a floor up without appearing: "Gimme a fuckin' second!" before muttering, "I just got off shift..." "But what if all the pubs in Escalus run out of drink!" Teige shouted back. "Oh!" Yoshi and Liya had appeared on the walkway on the floor above, the former looking cheerful enough, the latter scowling. "Yoshi, Liya," Teige greeted them, "any craic?" "Hello Teige!" Yoshi said pleasantly. "Hey Teige." Liya folded her arms on the railing. "I think this is a bad idea." Teige made a face. "Aye, you've said as much."
