Naftali Bennett, PM of the “change government” and the person most likely to replace Netanyahu, said basically the same thing last year. The Israeli (Zionist) opposition has no alternative vision to offer, just tinkering around the edges and less personal corruption.

Survey data shows Israel is viewed quite unfavorably in France (and much of the rest of Europe/the world).
I agree however that if Le Pen wins in 2027 that might not mean much.

The trend in Dem views of Israel (hinted at the in article) is stunning…big question IMO is what happens after the war ends, does the base go back to accepting permanent occupation or continue to push for action? (And of course how much salience does the issue have.)
