Great to see the Flying Finns Janne Lindberg and Marko Rajamaki back at #GreenockMorton yesterday as we won 2-1 versus Ayr United. Happy nostalgic memories.

Well here we go once again into the future and we've materialised in the year 2025 but it seems a tad familiar with talking cars (Knight Rider), the internet (the computer in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) and A.I (Star Trek Holodeck) Can you believe it? Happy new year to family and friends!

Really enjoyed this. Captures a moment in time and still brings a freshness and vigour to the greatest band of all time. It's combined with rare concert footage, fly on the wall filming of The Beatles and the crowds who followed them, and modern day interviews with those who were there. Excellent.

Gladiator ll. I don't know if if I have ever seen such a high body count - a cross between Game of Thrones on speed and Sharknado as a battle sequence saw Romans drop into a red sea of blood in a shark's supper. Films have come a long way since 1960s Batman - pass me the anti shark spray Robin!

Morton beaten at Somerset Park today with some top defending and goalkeeping from Ayr in the first half before the home side dominated the second half, winning 2-0. No Scottish Cup heroics from Morton like last year

Shed Seven were fantastic in Glasgow last night and I was so glad they played 'Let's Go Dancing' which was my favourite from their number one album 'A Matter of Time' #shedseven

BBC1's new comedy #OnlyChild at 9.30pm is about a son going back to help his dad who was recently widowed. It is brilliantly scripted, with some great humour and a modern day Steptoe and Son, stars Gregor Fisher and Greg McHugh. I think the BBC have a hit on their hands.
