the fact that you even consider that you might be that player i think makes it less likely. part of being the obnoxious asshole usually seems to require either not realising it or not caring if they do. neither of those seem to apply to you.

playing DnD as something of a power fantasy isnt necessarily wrong. that can be valid escapism.

its not real. it doesnt think, feel, or even understand the text it produces (no matter how good you think it sounds). all those philosophical "chats" are hashed together from the work of actual human writers.
