Can sabotage be an act of care? A way to build the future?

In our new @antipodeonline.bsky.social article, Eric Kioko & I introduce the Sabotage Matrix, a tool to rethink infrastructure sabotage as both destructive and constructive.

"Enoch made them, Enoch shall destroy them"

"Enoch" references the hammers made by Enoch and James Taylor, that were often used by Yorkshire Luddites to destroy machines, including those made by the same company that had produced the hammers.

My New Year's resolution was to publish an article at "Territory, Politics, Governance" about infrastructure, labour, and future making - and I'm already done!

10. The mother of all bad world region maps, Huntington's infamous prequel to "Clash of Clans". 1 star for going ham on the Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.

9. Another truly bizarre one. The red areas are The Frontier , I assume or The People Without Culture. At least the author of this map was honest enough to admit that they made it up in their head.

8. Complete insanity. What is Eastern Mediterranean?! Most countries are either west or not at the Mediterranean at all! "Let's enjoy the beautiful mediterranean beaches in *checks map* SOMALIA?! Also, South-East Asia is an utter mess.

7. The Benelux countries conquered Germany, UK, Denmark and parts of Poland in this "Cthulu Wars" tabletop game. I think this is cool. Australia does a funny thing. Antarctica and maritime areas are included, which is also cool.

6. A random guy called Maddison did this and thought it would be cool to put Kosovo and Montenegro into Africa, and write "Maddison Definition" behind all regions. "Western Offshoots" is funny though.

5. The Risk world map - a beautifully stout projection. Did a Ukrainian draw this? I love that Canada has 4 partitions. Unfortunately a #MapWithoutNewZealand.

4. The world according to Wikivoyage Pretty accurate though I feel at this point you can simply go by countries.
