I realize that I'm pissing into the wind when I say this, but the egregious consumerism around Comicon is already bad. Releasing a limited edition (2,500 copies) of Halo 35/Null 21 as an exclusive there is like pouring gas on fire.

One of my favorite experiences from the release of The Fragile was hearing a four minute version of the track on the radio, getting a 4.5 minute version on CD, and a 5 minute take on vinyl.

A presale for unofficial vinyl release of Ghosts V and VI is open on the nincollectors Facebook group. The seller has previously manufactured and sold copies of Still and Further Down the Spiral in this format without getting any pushback from @nin.com so they're moving on to more current releases.

I've been out of pocket all week. I have some thoughts I might post later. I understand why the ticket prices have sent shockwaves across social media. I suspect the resulting pressure for a big production will be resolved - but we have to wait to see how. Big projects have big budgets.

I am so angry about this. My friend Ryan, who runs ninlive.com, has had everything stolen, including his car, in Albuquerque. There are very particular, unique items in this UHaul - personalized signed memorabilia, which, should they turn up in the market, will lead straight back to this theft.
