We went hiking in the Mt. Hood National Forest this weekend. It felt good to get in touch with nature. I'm revived & restored.
I love living in Portland where a two hour drive east gets me in the forest & west gets me to the beach. That's great PNW living! 💜

My heart goes out to you. I'm coming up on 1 year since my sweet girl crossed the rainbow bridge. I'm still a wreck (I'm crying as I write this). They give us everything. What we give them back doesn't seem like enough (it is).

I saw this on a wall at a VA today. It was kind of tucked away yet still in a visible location. I was so proud to see this little act of resistance. It was a hard day for me. Seeing that sticker, I can't tell you how much it lifted my spirits.
