More shocking: the majority of voters for Hillary in 2016.

Tbf, it probably takes ages for images to get approved. Why not push it out and get feedback on the site’s functionality, first? As someone who does this stuff for a living, sure, it can be jarring, but things might change and I’d rather make sure you get a functional site than pretty and bad.

“You fellas have a lot of growing up to do! Ridiculous.”

I once took a bus ride in Pamplona for about 15 minutes and the two fellow Americans happened to be NY and Boston fans. Queue 15 mins of shit talking Nomar and Jeter. I would pull a John Warner and jump off the train before I’d endure that ride back to NYC with a Yankees fan.

Biggest lolz moment is “now you can sell 30% of your tickets”. Right, I’m holding the bag to sell a shitty product after you’ll fire a bunch of reps because not enough people renewed. No thanks.

Yep. It’d be great to see the O’s get a playoff win, but like everything else in this country: rich teams always win. Scottish football has the best fans of all time. That’s how I wish O’s fans could be. I mean, what are the odds we’re actually gonna win? So slim. Have fun watching games though. 🙂

I hear you — I wanted the same. What sucks is how business baseball has become. Fandom is such a painful experience because business is always involved. Always there to crush your spirit and remind you: rich dudes are gonna rich. A tale as old as time. Every year, I get hyped — only to get hurt. 😢

It was a sign of things to come. My guess is that it they knew they’d sell all along, so you gotta think of ways to engage fans.

Ha! I was referring to our America’s Greatest City, not Wrigleyville. 😉
August 1, 2025 at 11:41 PM
Right, but they county people can’t stay in the city for too long — that’s when you get murdered. 🙄

It was a poor way of saying, I trust they’re reading the right parts of data, but, it’s gonna suck if they get this wrong and it strips the soul from the franchise. How you feeling now?
July 31, 2025 at 9:46 PM
I mean, lots of data and right sources can tell you a lot. My pals once told me about some company that existed that did predictive modeling of pitcher health and you could get an understanding of the likelihood of injuries & value. Software’s great for showing you perspectives & possibilities. 🙂

Cold Burrata cheese, peaches and honey. It’s what dreams are made of.

This dude’s never worked in tech. Bro, our tech, security, infrastructure and innovation are fucked without immigrants.

I feel like that scene with Paulie in the back getting scolded by Tony was the start of his displeasure with him.

This x1000. As a naturalized Brit who is anti-monarch (but, hey ho), I also won’t stand for the obvious ripoff of God Save the (Insert Monarch Title). 🤣 Though, I became quite partial to the Flower of Scotland and still find myself getting misty when I hear it. 🥹

I hear people liked him. I’m of the age when Jordan stopped playing? I stopped watching the NBA. 🤣
July 23, 2025 at 10:43 AM
The scene of Meadow and Hunter making shit in the kitchen and leaving it a mess? Ohhhhh! Useless, privileged teens.

As someone who was born in Cincinnati, I can assure you, nothing’s good to watch from Cleveland. Drew Carey being the exception.

Also, for a less morbid view: you could live abroad and miss a number of seasons. I missed 10 and only saw 3 games in that time period. Shitty baseball ain’t too bad. 😉
