Honored to say that our little book won the Award of Merit in the Bible and Devotional category in the 2024 Christianity Today Book Awards! So thrilled and honored!

I made a mini-thanksgiving dinner for my family last night. I don't feel traditionally "southern" in a lot of ways, but cooking a meal with lots of butter, carbs, and brown sugar for the people I love really connects me to my Arkansan roots.

I just received this gift from my parents. I have cried like five times since opening it! Thecla means the world to me as a woman in Pauline studies. Her example of faithfulness, courage, and audacity inspired me to be the scholar I am today.

And despite myself, I have the same hope for the Church.

I've been doing this PhD thing for a month now. I can't emphasize this enough, I am having the time of my life. I could not be more grateful for where I'm sitting. #PhDlife
