Yes, it will be. Though the statement Adrian refers to isn't clear about whether the hit to the 2025 accounts is £3m, or if that'll be subject to amortisation. It's also dated December 30th, so wouldn't appear to include any January activity.

Agree with the assessment of the players. On the accounts, the wording in them is ambiguous regarding the comings and goings. It's unclear whether the 'players bought' total is the amount counting as a loss, or whether It's the total amount, which will be reduced by amortisation.

Given the current law isn't enforced, I can't see it making much difference. There'll be a few given early doors, then everyone will forget about it.
