Our 8yo is into creating board games these days; in his latest design one has to collect geocaches and if you land on an occupied field the other player looses his points and you get them.

During his school lunch our 8yo casually explained the idea of the marine food web and the role of orcas and whales as apex predators in it to his class mates using simple diagrams. I don’t think they covered it yet In class.
