Even though I KNOW that vermillion is a red and chartreuse is a green, my mind violently rejects this fact and persistently holds onto the belief that the two colours were actually switched at birth.

An appearance of the word “wonton” instead of “wanton” in fic during sexy times is one of my favourite reoccurring typos.

I have a lot of thoughts today because I’ve been reading fanfic instead of working. But one thing I LOVE about fanfic is something can have bad spelling/grammar/editing but can still be so compelling and funny and make you cry and that’s so nice. To not be polished but still be enjoyable is amazing.

A drive-to-school discussion on the merits of a “meet-cute” vs a “meet ugly” in storytelling led to me explaining the entire plot of Pride & Prejudice — during which I coined the phrase “proposal (derogatory)” to describe Mr. Darcy’s first attempt at landing the inestimable Miss Bennet.

Truly had the most amazing time this weekend! Not only did I get to see this in person, my best friends from high school flew into town and we all got to experience this amazing event together! My heart is full! 💕
