"I don't take it lightly when I say the federal judiciary is the most dangerous white-collar workplace in America," LAP’s @alizashatzman.bsky.social told @npr.org @carriejohnson.bsky.social for this piece.

The judiciary doesn’t take harassment/bullying seriously.

Fortunately, LAP is on the case.

⚖️The federal judiciary gives only 1️⃣reason for opposing Title 7 protections for 30,000+ exempt employees: “judicial independence.”

❓What do they want to be independent from—the law? 🎤

Congress has abdicated its oversight responsibility over the ⚖️ judiciary.

🗳️Elections are how we hold Congress #accountable, to start holding the #judiciary accountable.

Didn’t know he was a “MAGA judge” + that’s not really relevant to the question of whether Kindred should be disciplined for abusive conduct.

Judges are *rarely* disciplined + the vast majority, sadly, get away w egregious misconduct.

⚖️ Looking forward to speaking with UChicagoLaw students today during lunchtime about @thelap.bsky.social judicial accountability + #clerkship transparency work!

Honest info about clerking is notoriously difficult to find at law schools. 🤔

Fortunately, LAP built a solution! 🧑‍💻👩‍💻

The title speaks for itself.

Law schools should NOT be the only source of #clerkship info.

Fortunately, they don’t have to be! @thelap.bsky.social Clerkships Database provides an *honest* picture of clerking.

Shame on law schools that say otherwise.

“I can’t think of a more important time to have a fully functioning seven-person Supreme Court than now, heading into the 2026 midterms,” LAP’s President + Founder @alizashatzman.bsky.social told @boltsmag.org @burness.bsky.social about the significance of PA’s Supreme Court retention victories.
As of last October, total spending in last week’s Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention election had topped $14 million, making it one of the nation’s most expensive retention elections ever.
Democrats Retain Control of Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court with Three-Seat Sweep
The GOP mounted an unusual push to oust three supreme court justices and erase Democrats’ majority on the court. All three prevailed easily in Tuesday’s retention elections.
