I would donate legal work to this cause. Who is building it?
We should band together and create an Indie marketplace that specializes in indie authors, artists, and craftsmen. Free from the oligarchs and built on supporting each other. Not sure how to accomplish something like that, though.

You've been told as a kid to "be the best" instead "do your best" and it's feeding into the anxiety you have today.
You can't rewrite the past but you can show up for yourself today - give yourself permission to achieve what you can instead of what you must

Even if Tiktok returns the day after inauguration, everything about that app will never be the same. Because it didn't return under its own terms. It would've returned under orange Cheetos' terms. And I don't know whether I can stomach that. 🤢 I'm a TikTok refugee forever #tiktokban

people who use goodreads: jeff bezos owns goodreads and if you want a better alternative there is a black woman owned company called storygraph that you can use to replace it. you can transfer all of your data from goodreads to storygraph and have your mind be free of trumpie jeff bezos! win win. 💙
