Today marks a big anniversary for #IGPX - the 20th anniversary of the first US broadcast on #Toonami. The second episode also aired on this day 20 years ago, (November 5) and that really hooked me into the series. I don't think it's an exaggeration that to say it was a life-changing day for me.

On October 5th, 2005, 20 years ago today, the first episode of #IGPX aired in Japan for the first time on TV Asahi. I made this post simply to commemorate the 20th anniversary of IGPX, and I'll be back for the anniversary of the US premiere in a month!

The #IGPX 401 action report is now live, with more info on IG mechs, and some new exclusive info (a kind of "Did you know?!" section) that delves into the point system a bit more and the kinds of people who make up the "audiences" of the IGPX.

I was combing through the original #IGPX Japanese DVD pamphlets (off which the action reports are based) and came across this image in the section for screenshots for "pit garages", different from the final version used in the show. There also appears to be a Satomi mech just lying on the ground 🫥

Hey everyone, I'll need more time to finish the next #IGPX action report, but it's a little more than halfway done. Instead of making you all wait, here is what I have so far. Hoping to get the rest done before February, so stay tuned!

A quick update on the roadmap for the next #IGPX fan site updates: in short, lots of action reports. I'll probably only get one done before Christmas, but it's a big one: the special, never-before-released Satomi Midfield Mech report. I can't wait to share that with everyone. Here's a sneak peek:
