David Corenswet perfectly embodies the character. All the casting in the movie is 100% spot-on, but it’s Corenswet’s humanity that anchors the film.

Superman is just the movie I needed. A reflection of current events that embraces its comic book origins and isn’t afraid to be sentimental. A movie where hope and goodness and humanity thrive. A movie with the cutest dog in the universe. I can’t wait for more.

Watched Drop and thought it was smart, twisty, suspenseful fun. Would make a great double feature with its goofier cousin, Trap. DROPTRAP

The Philippou brothers bring us another wildly messed up look at the horrors of grief, with amazing performances from a mostly unknown cast of young people. Not since Ari Aster’s first two films have I been so impressed with new horror filmmakers.

Finished The Last of Us Part 2 AND The Last of Us season 2 over the weekend.
Season 2 does a great job adapting the first act of the game, but the game is often intentionally frustrating, enraging, deeply depressing, and full of maddening character decisions. Need some time to process it all.
