I’ve been tearing up all week thinking back on certain moments in #Superman and hearing people discuss the moments that moved them. I haven’t been impacted by a movie like this in a long time.

As someone who was never fully engrossed in the MCU and only liked a couple films in the DC Snyderverse, I’m SO excited to see what comes next in the new DCU. The power of James Gunn, y’all.

One of my favorite sub-genres: movies where obsessing over a superior man causes Nicholas Hoult to lose his mind

The trick to playing #Superman is to seem like the most all-powerful being in the universe, but also an approachable guy who radiates goodness.

David Corenswet perfectly embodies the character. All the casting in the movie is 100% spot-on, but it’s Corenswet’s humanity that anchors the film.

Superman is just the movie I needed. A reflection of current events that embraces its comic book origins and isn’t afraid to be sentimental. A movie where hope and goodness and humanity thrive. A movie with the cutest dog in the universe. I can’t wait for more.

When the great Taylor Swift said, “I’m miserable! And nobody even knows!” I truly felt that 😌

My dream job is still to work at the video store, with the one problem being video stores went extinct ages ago 😢

28 Years Later is fantastic, with the small caveat that it feels like the first entry in a larger story. An excellent reintroduction to this universe.

One of the best perks of both the Switch and Switch 2 is how easy it is to connect Bluetooth headphones. For some reason both PlayStation and Xbox make this a chore/impossible.

Once you realize that all religion is basically the Marvel vs. DC of ancient times, it becomes really goofy that humans kill each other over it

Strong end of the world vibes today. Or maybe just the end of America.

A very happy Friday the 13th to all you lovely people!

If you plan to celebrate with Jason tonight, take a look at my ranking of the films. They’re all incredibly fun but some more than others.

Watched Drop and thought it was smart, twisty, suspenseful fun. Would make a great double feature with its goofier cousin, Trap. DROPTRAP

Superman has slowly become my most anticipated movie of the summer. The story of an undocumented immigrant and his adorable dog fighting for justice is gonna HIT in 2025.

People can’t actually be offended that Sabrina Carpenter makes fun of men for being idiots in her songs. Men are idiots and she should sing it louder!

It’s funny how every attempt from an authoritarian to look big and strong just makes them look weak and pathetic.
